About the role
The Infrastructure and Network Assistant supports the installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the organization’s IT infrastructure and network systems, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security of servers, network devices, and connectivity services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Know how about VPN setup, policy creation etc.
- Perform regular Windows patch management and health checks.
- Create new virtual machines.
- Monitor Member Bank VPN, ATM, and SIEM events.
- Create Active Directory users, update DNS records, create MFA users, and set up email addresses.
- Monitor NAS storage.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and inventory.
- Provide 1st level support for escalated issues.
- Work closely with Innovation, EFT Switch and support teams.
- Manage door access control, CCTV monitoring, and backup.
- Monitor Server Room and HSM Room temperature.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management or a related field.
• Prior exposure to network and security operations preferred (e.g., internship or entry-level IT support experience).
TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Basic knowledge of networking protocols, devices, and tools.
